Have any of you suddenly lost contact with someone you were close with online?

I've lost contact with one person, and the last thing they said to me was 'goodbye'. I'll never forget that and I've gotten no closure.

Yup, when msn messenger went down I ended up losing an amazing friend. I've not managed to reconnect and it's saddening, I want to chat like always and say the exact same thing at the same time.
