My friend died last week. Why is it hitting me hard now?? I'm so sorry to post but my soul hurts badly😭 and he's gone.

I'm sorry for your loss. There is never a set time for when we process things. One of the things that hit our group of friends when one of ours died was that it forced us to face our own mortality. We no longer felt invincible.

Thank you, all the friends are pretty much destroyed emotionally right now. I was the last to find out because I didn't have FB. You're right it does force the realization of being mortal.
