I regret not having acted the best to some friends, it makes me feel embarrassed thinking about it. I thought I was being funny but I hurt my friend's feelings. When they forgave me, I felt doubly convicted and determined never to do such a dumb joke again.

Awww. Sounds like you made amends. Nobody's perfect. Life is about making mistakes and then doing better. It's fine.

Yes... I was 18. It was just a stupid joke, but kinda cruel, and I learned from it. My friend didn't really hold it against me. I was surprised.
