It's not the same as it was 20 years ago. My son wouldn't afford it. He's 19.
I feel like if a child is eager, they can make it on their own. I think by 21 if the have their act right.

Exactly. If times were easier i'd definitely be out on my own in college.

No ,but by 25 kids should be able to make it on their own

No but I would expect them to pay rent and have a job.

I would have never thought I would but after my wifes daughter got pregnant at 17 she wanted to kick her out at 18. I said no we shouldnt..blah blah. Ends up this girl refuses to grow up. Wont clean up after herself calls off work once a week and expects everything to be handed to her. After talking with the daughter and her not even trying to change I told the wife that I may not agree with her methods but it might be the only way this girl will grow up. It sucks its scary but I don't know how else to make her become an adult

I would never kick my child out. If they volunteer to move I would let them.

No.

SW-User
I wouldn't. They'd voluntarily leave to make their own way in the world because I was an awesome parent with my wife and taught our kids hows to be self thriving.

SW-User
No, I'd want to teach him though about financial responsibilities and independence by helping him venture out on his own.

SW-User
No, idk how parents are cold enough to do that

some kick them out soon as they turn 18 with parents not caring if their kid is able to finish their senior year of high school suddenly having to get there own place and food and work three fucking ffull time jobs to pay for it. is why all parents need to be shot!!!!! that will teach them not to force their kids out of school!!!! only good parent is a dead parents!!! I hate parents forcing their kids to drop out of high school. I seen kids being dragged cryingfrom class to class by their satanic parents pulling them from each of their classes.
SaintAdelaide · 36-40, F
@trackboy that's horrible, kids progress at different ages. Parents need to be patient and support that child into adulthood
trackboy · 26-30, M
@SaintAdelaide I cry thinking about class mates I seen dragged from their classes being dropped out of school by their evil parents. they was doing well in their classes and sports.
