Why do people send me PM's with answers to my questions or post but don't comment on the post? What gives?

It happens often too - and it's not just one person

(I am referring to new people I've never interacted with, not existing and established friends)

@Pherick idk it's a bit creepier. I don't pm with people I haven't already established interaction with on the public forums though.
