Anybody else see that ToysRus just filed for bankruptcy ?

@BurstMe95 Never good for consumers once you start losing the element of choice.

@BurstMe95 As an engineer, our advancements in technology and information sharing greatly excites me. Unfortunately, it also exposed very clearly the ugliness of human greed and hubris.

Technology is merely a tool, most people were/are just not ready to use it.

@Picklebobble2 It's about to get worse, the w3c has approved a DRM-standard for the web.

@SW-User Companies want to maximize profits at the expense of costs.
That may mean more jobs at Amazon and the like. But you can bet they'll all be minimum wage with ridiculous targets and a constant turnover of staff.

@BurstMe95 I'd imagine something along the lines of what happens during black friday, black market of goods exclusively owned by certain individuals and so on...nothing good :(

@BurstMe95 That's what is likely to happen, which I really can't condone, at this point.
