Do you ever get jealous of other people's relationship with their parents?

Yes and no.

My father was an AMAZING role model, he taught me respect, integrity, how to be a good father and husband.

Now the negative....He was not as good of a friend in that we did not throw football / Baseball etc. back and forth, or have many common interests.

That being said I was an active kid with many friends that I spent time with so I would have to say that there is equal blame to share as I did not spend time with him as well as a friend.

@StevenIzzi That's really sweet. As for the negative--he must not have been into sports? Guessing he did not do that with his dad. Still too bad he didn't do it with you tho. 💙

@OverMe He took me to my football games, he took me to my hockey games and my wrestling and martial arts tournaments, He played football and hockey. I think that I am as much to blame as I was busy with my friends doing what I wanted to do with my father.
