@puck61 I think Rosie was fricking awesome! The '67- '70 Stones played Blues like that. As did Dylan for a long time. I think a slide guitar, the kind Brian (Jones)or Mick(Taylor) could play would have been nice in places. Perhaps at about the 1:40 mark of the bridge.
But it not their influence I hear. I hear John Lee Hooker. Mississippi Fred McDowall, Art Tatum, and a young Muddy Waters.

@puck61 That was good. They did a nice job with that. You have a number on that site that couoldbe commercially marketable. including the one I spoke of. Tom Wilson- (Dylan's old producer-think "Highway 61 Revisited") could work wonders with a few of those. You ave a great talent.
Oddly, I believe the time for simple, uncomplicated blues and folks are back in- there is an audience that wants fed. The Stones released an entire blue Lp last year-and it sold! So many are sick of the cookie cutter garbage that is out now and called music. They just want a story- to feel. And to have it relatable.

@puck61 I think that is very well done. "Self portrait"? Yes- I get the Dylan reference! I liked that LP!
The addition of a secind guitar was great- as was a violin. That could be enhanced a lot if you could add a flute to it. After the second verse.
i had heard part of that on acrchive.org. As i was listening to "Nancy's Song I saw that an old , dear , EP friend of mine , Quintesse . loved your voice- and songs. I can understand why she may say that.

@puck61 She was aver dear person. kind, soft spoken, considerate and quirky. meaning her sense of humor was all her own. There are about 20 I wish would come here. She is one of them. I miss slash and his wife. His wife more than him. Same as paganpoet and Unjusted. But that was just an EP love story- and perhaps the best one of all EP time.
It seems like a certain amount of the more serious writers have moved on, but there are some still here.
