Nothing happens after death. You're gone. However, God might resurrect you someday, as I believe that he will do to many.

@popmol You die = You're nothing.
God deems that you're worth = You get resurrected to live for eternity in paradise.

@MartinTheFirst sounds far fetched? and if he is all knowing then he could know before we are even born. is it fair that we got kicked out of that paradise because 2 people ate an apple they weren't supposed to be. then jesus came and made sure after death we could return but what about the people between jesus and adam and eve? are they in a void?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@popmol Not at all, not when you've studied the bible and understood the truths.
He is all knowing but he has chosen to not "know" what we will do or not, that is where free will comes in. If he would know what you would do or become, that would mean that everything is predetermined, meaning that you have no choice in what you do. God holds trust in us and therefore gave us the power of the choosing our own paths.

You see, we weren't kicked out you and me, we were never even in it. The moment that Adam and Eve became sinners, they continued to teach their children sins, and it has gone so far that we barely know what is right or wrong anymore.

The people between Jesus and Adam and Eve, which includes Abraham who is the friend to God, Moses, Job and many more good people are included in the resurrection that Jesus has promised us through his sacrifice.

@MartinTheFirst that just dumb. isn't it in his greater plan. and what then? he is all knowing but decides to do the one thing so Christians can say ooh no thats not it. he made us brought us in existence to then say do whatever you want but if a dislike you to hell with you. what about me i never did anything so wrong in my life that i'd deserve hell but i'll probably go because the only thing i did wrong is not believe in him.

damn, if he is all powerful coudn't he gives us a better book? like this are your sins and boom its done.

so wait this is some flash kind time travel shit going on. he does somethign in the future to change the past. ridiculous
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@popmol What and why is that what dumb?
What is in his greater plan?
What is the one thing and what is ooh not thats not it?

He brought us into existence to be with him and do good things along his side, if you choose to do something that is wrong, such as murder, you will get consequences. He loves everyone, but he never takes away consequences for your actions.

What you've done in your life that makes you not deserve eternal life in paradise, which I can't judge and won't judge if you do or don't do, but it's a hypothesis, then that would be that you have no faith in God, and you currently go against him. God has forgiven evil deeds, but if you do not believe in him then then he can't forgive you, even though he wants you to realize that he exists and help you.

He gave us a guide, so that we may actually get into paradise. He wants us to prove ourselves, he wants you to read the book and understand that he exists and most of all have faith in that he will make everything right. It's a true test of your heart, and you're currently failing it, which I hope will change someday.

Time travel?
If you decide to forgive you friend for doing something bad to you in the past, would that be time travel?
popmol · 22-25, M
@MartinTheFirst well he is all knowing but he decides not see what we will do so christians can say see he knows everything except that one thing you ask for.

well i don't kill, i laways do what i'm told i try to behave, i don't steal, i do some silly lies for jokes but never a truly bad lie. would i still go to to hell then?

well then he could make it clear by sending another jesus that can do things like turn water into wine and something that scientist can't explain, then i'll say maybe yeah. bnut believing in a 2000 year old guy i never met, wrote a book with things about killing in it . i'm sorry but no. all i ask is to give us a second jesus for him that shoudn't be hard.

he will make everything good? i see god hasn't met the Murphy's law yet.

not time travel but it would change the past in the future
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@popmol He knows everything because he has created everything. However, he has also created our free will which he does not want to take away from us. Our free will makes us unpredictable, God has made our ability to choose our paths strong enough that he does not know what we will choose.

I can not judge if you will be sent to the fiery lake Gehenna or not, that is up to God to decide. But if you do not believe in your creator, do you believe that he will accept you as his own?

So one Jesus who did miracles wasn't enough for you, then two Jesus' who did miracles will not be enough for another person alike you in year 4000. Should he create one "Jesus" for every generation? It's all about faith. You choose to not believe in it. A person can choose to not believe in what is true, but it is still true.

It won't change the past. God forgives you in the present, and he resurrects you in the present. He never goes through time to do something.
popmol · 22-25, M
@MartinTheFirst well he is a shitty god if he doesn't want to get involved :p

no but at least since i'm not a shitty human i would like for him to do what i believe. in nothingness like before i was born. if he then exist and he made me but didn't give me prove to believe in him its his mistake to not come up with something more believable.

like i said its 2000 years ago. i can say why don't you believe in odin he said no more ice giants and look i don't see any ice giants do you ?
i can only believe what i see and since i did not see his miracles its the same as any guy in the past saying something. well if he did it now we could record it and show it too people but well then it might be still hard to believe. but hey every generation or every 100 years a new jesus would help i mean i'd believe it if i saw it my own eyes not some folk tales of 200 years ago.

thats not what i hear. i see people in the past going to heaven while they couldn't until tin the future they made sure they did going to heaven in the past.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Yes, you would like him to. But you give something to receive something. Like... saying that he is "shitty" is not a good start to survive. You can blame him all you want, but it's still your mistake for not researching it. I believe in him, because I've studied the bible enough. You can too, but you do not want to, I see that.

Why would I believe in odin? I believe in Jehovah because I've researched it and it adds up. Odin? Not so much. Then that is truly sad but I can't help you there, the only one who looses for not believing is you. 🤷

According to the scriptures, God did miracles for people, such as splitting the ocean in half so they could escape the egyptians, evidently saving their lives, yet afterwards they doubter and started praying to other gods they made up out of gold. Are you sure that you wouldn't be like them? If so many can believe right now based on the scriptures yet you can't, are you entirely sure that you're not exactly like them?

What? You're complicating it.
They died in the past. They are resurrected, in other words brought back from the dead. There's no time travel.
popmol · 22-25, M
@MartinTheFirst he made us but he made us so we can be bad and we will suffer for all eternity? i think its fine if its hey i like this one he goes to heaven and the other one i dislike goes out of existence but no we will suffer for his failed creating. i'm sorry but that's dumb. if an engineer makes something and it failed you don't blame the machine. you blame the engineer.

i will laugh my ass off if its some other believes god :p

great, but i can't see that. he doesn't do it now. its like i said way to long ago.
all the people i know thats are so called Christians say there might something and i can say there might be something but not the god you say. but like you said things about odin might be a story to you but there's no proof for me that is saying god split the ocean in 2

i didn't mean time travel. and holy shit is god a necromancer. damn they are always the bad guys
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@popmol He made us so that we can do exactly anything we want that we put our heart to. It's your responsibility to use that power for good. As God is purely Good, he will not accept evil to exist in his world. Not even a machine would blame its creator, but we are not machines. We are full fledged people who have the ability to think past "hey this feels good".

In the bible there is evidence for it, but as with any evidence, you choose if you believe it or not.
popmol · 22-25, M
@MartinTheFirst its his problem that he made us being able to be evil or not believe in him.

a old book. so anything written down is the truth? that seems dangerous becasue then my Kampf from hitler would also be the truth
