Friends of mine left Naples today because of the threat of the storm. They took valuables, lowered the hurricane shutters, and headed north. I think it's a good idea to get out ahead of this storm as it's huge.
@Stereoguy Smart move, I think. Have a safe trip. They noticed a lot of nutty drivers on the highway out of town, though I think that they may be confusing some normal traffic with hurricane evacuees.
