Maybe, if you didn't receive so many you might feel differently. Maybe it's just simply because you know you will continue to receive these types of messages it is so easy for you to delete them.
At least they are being polite and being honest in expressing their desire to get to know you. I don't think it requires you to respond, deleting their message and not responding will tell them all they need to know about you.

@SW-User Then maybe you should include in your profile that you don't appreciate those types of messages. If you make it clear that you don't like receiving messages from guys, then a lot of them will not message you.
Is it the fact that the message is worded that way, or that you want them to say more in their first message to you?
If you say something like "I don't wish to receive messages that say simply "Hello, I'd like to get to know you"" then most of those messages will stop, but you have to also expect that they will word their messages differently and still probably message you.
If you say that you don't wish to receive messages from guys, then most will stop.
