Yes. I was told I would be disowned when my mother found out I had a black boyfriend and that my grandfather would never speak to me again (this was her way to scare me)

I also was told I could go to my best friends goodbye sleepover as she was moving to another country. A few days before I decided I should simply tell her my best friend was black. .because she surely would not have an issue with a black friend who was a girl...I was wrong. I was forbidden to go. I never spoke to my best friend again. Her father was in the military...this did not seem to matter much to my mom they were black.

As a small child my mom and her best friend used to tease me about having "little n****r boyfriends to which I would plead no and sometimes cried about it...they thought it was funny.

What I am most glad about is that I was able to see that what they were doing and saying was wrong. I had enough of a mind of my own and was taught properly in school ...I am grateful for this.

Well to be fair...we're only really white if we don't get much sun, kind of cream coloured actually...I think...well...who's judging really? xD

I do but she comes from a different times & place & I totally get it but no my parents nor I or any or my siblings are racist in the slightest at all

"Why do white people (fill in the blank)??" That's my mom every fucking time. And I dunno if my dad agrees or is just agreeing to avoid being yelled at again (because she must [i]always[/i] be right), but he just goes right along with it.

Both of my parents, and probably most of my relatives. They're not white supremacists but they're still definitely racist. The sort of racist where they don't think what they think or say is racist or offensive.

I don't know any racist people in my country. it simply just doesn't exist here since many centuries ago...
