bought a trailer when I started college, have moved it a couple of times over the years. It is nothing fancy, but it does keep the weather at bay and gives the mailman someplace to deliver all those unwanted sales circulars. A traditional built house can be as uncomfortable or unsafe during disasters as a trailer. It is all about buying the most you can for the dollar, and not being stupid. Don't try to ride out the tornados in either one, but the house will make a neater pile when it is over.
