I have loved in one I have worked on them but when I had to tear one to the ground I swore I would never live in one again

@metalicblack Was following behind one in the country when it got loose and swung over and hit an embankment, the siding peeled like aluminum foil...cheaply made and they don't stand up to wind or much of anything else until you get the high-priced brands like Solitaire.

@cherokeepatti mines from the 70s,needs work but seems fine

@plague Have heard the floors need to be replaced often if several heavy people live in them, they don't take a lot of weight.

I have taken one apart with nothing more than a claw hammer and my bare hands the metal in the frame is so soft that you can cut I apart with a dull hack saw then burned all of it in the hottest and fastest burning fire that I have ever seen

@metalicblack the doors I've seen on some of them were really flimsy...I think Fisher-Price toys would be more durable than those doors.

@cherokeepatti yea and the insulation in them is less than half of what the worst houses have
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@metalicblack costs too much to heat them in the winter too.

@cherokeepatti oh yea, I lived I one for a year before I found my house and the wine about broke is almost double of what the house runs

@plague don't take me wrong a home is what you make it just do research on what you need to do to improve it and you will be ok
