@Poppies she got sick, and got worse. I guess I was focused on what needed to be done for her and plans for her. So I just never got around to saying I was sorry. Even though I believe she knows, it just would've been nice to be able to say it. No closure for me, I guess.

@SW-User I'm sure that if she was aware of anything, it was of your being there for her, not of the little fight before. And before that, your lifelong relationship would have meant more to her, when the chips were down, than a temporary blip. I will bet that if she had a vote she would want you to forgive yourself, so you should do it for her.
