What do you geek out over?

@SW-User Although all of the answers are interesting, I gotta ask about the comics.

@CaptainCanadia I have a thing for the X-men, and I grew up on Spiderman and The Hulk but I've read quite a few other comic series as well. Do you read any?

@SW-User My thing is I wait for others to find great comics and point them out to me. My favorite series is Transmetropolitan, which is about sort of... Hunter S Thompson in a cyberpunk future. It's brilliant.

@CaptainCanadia Have you ever read The Sandman by Neil Gaiman? Dark but excellent :)

@SW-User YES!! I have them all on a bookshelf behind me. I can't believe I forgot about Sandman. Have you seen the American Gods TV show that came out recently?

@CaptainCanadia I don't have cable but I want to see it! I probably will buy the season all at once and binge watch it!

@SW-User It's brilliant - absolutely worth it. I read the book when it came out and the show just fulfills every promise of it so well.

@CaptainCanadia That's good to hear, it seems most of the screen adaptations just don't live up to the books :) The freaking Dark Tower movie was God awful and veered really far from the books.

@SW-User I saw the reviews and just noped right out. It's kind of amazing how much promise that movie had and how much of a catastrophe it was.

@CaptainCanadia They could have really made a series of movies out of it if they had done it right :( I shouldn't have paid to see the piece of crap.

@SW-User Sorry to hear that. Dark Tower is brilliant - best stuff King has ever done. I imagine someone will take another crack at it in 10 years. Still sucks though. :(
