John Snow never wanted to be king.. But for world of men keeps taking on positions he never wanted to be in for the greater good... Robert Baratheon never wanted to be king either.. Yet took the position to keep the peace basically...
John Snow is obviously a Baratheon... Not sure if he's the former kings son and therefore rightful ruler by the westerosis standards... But at this point being any kind of Baratheon would make you at least a contender for it...
Whether Daenery's Lives or dies he's the most likely contender.. Since she'll likely marry him, and if she somehow dies then he's really the only one left up for choosing that people would be willing to see on the throne...
