What’s one downside of the modern day world?

Only a small part of the population controls all the resources and makes common man compete and kill each other in the rat race of survival, while they watch the show. There are too many people who are not useful, and they are not willing to be the same. Everything is mostly done by machine. People are getting weaker and sicker due to lack of manual effort. Food, water, soil everything carries inorganic chemicals that are harmful to human body. I'm not going to the human emotion part because it's a subjective thing, but what are mentioned above are some of the priorities that need a fix.

The growing disparity between rich and poor

Instant connectivity, a blessing and a curse, where people expect you to be available at all hours of the day and night via smart phone.

love has been replaced by instant gratification.. communications is basically online and people arent loyal.

Too many people. Not enough wilderness land to explore and enjoy for solitude that's close to home!
