What does the world need right now?

@hminuk I doubt that we can ever have total peace but I do think that we can minimize conflict if we address some of the issues that cause conflict - things like food and water shortages and energy production. The world needs ideas, not just well-meaning but well-thought out ideas that will help address these issues.

@AlphaCuck You are absolutely right. The world need good and caring leaders whom would care and look after people rather than their own well-being's. There is plenty of food water and land in this world, we just have to learn how to share it.

@hminuk Sharing is good but it worries me that aid organisations that help feed starving people do contribute to the problem. It's like the old saying - give a man a fish and he'll be fed for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll be fed for a lifetime. If there isn't an effort to help these people learn to better live off the land and perhaps not have so many children that they can't feed them all, then sharing food alone won't have a lasting effect. Compassion is good but it must be countered with thoughtfulness.

@AlphaCuck Right again. Sharing our knowledge as well as offering a helping hand to those who need it should help a little.
