Should children take a break during the summer?

Every parent is different should I feel guilty of my children didn't do learning activities the whole summer? They are just lower grades.

These kids need the summers to learn about life, to learn to cope, to hone their social skills, discover nature...it will be cruel to take that away. Those teachers all for ending it probably have no life and are bored

Depends on their age..if they're young just let them be, if they're going to their senior year or 5th form they should revise a little

They should where I live. Do you know the struggle we have in school nowadays? It's killing people's souls. During the summer they can let their souls blossom again. Everyone needs rest and the weekends do not always suffice. This is of course different for all children and situations.
