Is the internet doing more bad then good these days?

Oh jeez that's my moment!

While it gets easier every day to connect with other people, learn new and amazing things or just do general fun stuff, the Internet is often misused, not only to do bad things, like selling/buying illegal cargo, but it also becomes more and more filled with untruths and general bullshit. Every idiot has access to the Internet and can spread his or her bullshit for all to see. Facebook and the like dominate the Internet and so many people take their facts straight off there. That's a great way to spread shit all around the world.
It also makes us all drown in entertainment. People often say they're bored, but that's not true. They are overwhelmed by the possibilities.
The bottom line is that the Internet is capable of great things, but we've taken it too far and now the easily available parts shove bullshit down our throat while harder to reach content, that is often more useful gets suffocated by the big players.

Depends on your perspective. For me, it's been amazing because I like to research all kinds of things to better educate myself and take better care of me and others.

Depends on what you're doing with it. There are many positive and negative things online.
