Why do you think America plays different sports from the rest of the world?

I know they still play football (you guys call it soccer) but what do you think is the reason why?

The reason is that it got popular because of the immigrants who came here and enjoyed it so much...baseball, American football, basketball and other sports are dominant sports here. Something for every season.
