Why do you think America plays different sports from the rest of the world?
I know they still play football (you guys call it soccer) but what do you think is the reason why?

Because it is a larger country.

@BlueRain Yeah, but Russia, Brazil, Argentina, etc are large too and yet they don't play 'different' sports

Well actually growing up as an American we block out the rest of the world so no one cares what other countries play. Only we matter.
