Nah, people are so wounded and no one has really taught them how to heal. That's why they act like that.

@Whispersindreams I despise the term "victim". It further takes our power away.
Hopefully we actually heal and then make the choice to help others

@Peaceful I am a victim of sexual assault. I don't feel a term takes my power away, I took my power back when I forgave.

@Whispersindreams as am I and much more. My comment doesn't diminish, it's a label that categorizes us and often limits, that's all I was showing you.

Many people like to tweet from their iphones about how someone should sort out the wrongs of the world. Thinking a hashtag will cure poverty. Or maybe slightly more effort "sponsored headshave" for a girl. No, that is attention seeking. How about you volunteer with said charity for several hours instead?
@pianoplayingsteve Me? I've devoted years of my life volunteering (at least a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of my time)...go screw yourself.

@Whispersindreams Did I say it were you, you damn prick? You just said "people are hopelessly", so i said in kind "many people". You want me to screw myself saying the same thing that you did, agreeing with you.
@pianoplayingsteve Sorry for being defensive, all the men in here have changed into wild gorillas beating their chest and howling.
