What are the ramifications of a genderless society?

DNA and genetics are the core of natural law. A society that disregards, ignores, or pretends that anything is possible will lose. A man or woman can dress like the other gender, take hormones and have surgeries to look like the other gender, but at the end of the day, they still have the genetic structure of what they were born with.

Men and women are different. Science has shown the the brains operate differently (neither is superior to the other), physical strength, stamina, healing and more are different without even considering reproduction.

I have no problem with anyone living their life as they see fit, but if society takes the view that gender is fluid in direct conflict to all that science demonstrates in natural law, that society is going to have problems. If one can disregard biological facts at will, where will the line be drawn or can it be drawn at all?

@sunrisehawk But there's also the feelings side of it where someone identifies and feels like the opposite gender so they want to live as the opposite gender.

@SugarPlumxo The question is not what one feels but what happens to that society.

@sunrisehawk What could be wrong with it if people are still functioning and children are still being born? Do you think the hormones will do long term damage?

@SugarPlumxo I have no idea what the long-term hazards or damage to the individual might be from gender reassignment. However, I do question the viability of any society that ignores biological processes and facts and even encourages people to do so. There is a world of difference between allowing people to make the choice to try to live like the other gender and actually believing that they can become the other gender.
@sunrisehawk Unfortunately, human beings can't seem to acknowledge differences without wanting to assign value judgement to those differences. There appears to be an intrinsic need to label differences superior or inferior. Add to that an ever-present tendency to segregate and exclude, and it becomes obvious that rigid gender roles don't work for many members of society. If they did there would not have been the social upheaval from those who simply wanted more options.
