What goes through your mind at night when you can't fall asleep?

How cool wouldn't it be to take some broken items, and switch the broken part with an identical copy made out of glass? It would look like the item is still broken, but with a ghost of what it looked like before remaining.

Maybe a statue of a woman grieving and some glass figure seemingly trying to comfort her. Same concept. Ghosts of things and stuff.
