This is interesting. Yes I sometimes get a feeling of being absolutely content (a feeling of complete happiness). I am always slightly apprehensive when it happens.

I always felt it was a warning for something bad to come (Scottish fey) but I think I like your explanation more.

If it was a warning, you would have a bad feeling. I've had one that actually woke me up in the middle of the night for no reason. My grandpa died a couple days later

I am sorry to hear that. In my case something bad usually follows that "perfect feeling" but I still like your explanation. It is a reminder of "aht lo leh vahd" - you are not alone.

@Lochlee hmm.. now that you mention it, I did get a good feeling right before the love of my life died, and I knew he was going to die that night, they were pulling the plug on him. Lung cancer. Anyway I really think it was God's way of either saying thanks for being his best friend, or maybe that he was meant to go at the time he did
