Neither... when I was single I'd constantly tell ask myself, do I really like my job and if its worth the drama that it brings if it doesn't work out... I swear just the idea of drama at work kept me at bay... and anyways I needed good friends during that time than a relationship...

several times. although i cant say that those were wise decisions. LOL

Yes, I was a summer intern, he was a lot older and eventually I decided that he was "just after one thing" and ended it. Nowadays I wouldn't think that "one thing" is a problem, but there you go.

Gentlemickey · 70-79, M
I made a big mistake and dated a girl from my office... She related every private moment we had and all the personal things she learned about me to everyone in the office... The girls in the office were always giggling and I didn't know why until I found out she was telling them everything !!
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@Gentlemickey At least you have the memories of her
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@Gentlemickey I think that would have turned off most of the guys at the office. To dating her
Fernie · F
No. I watched others do that and it never ended well
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
No, and absolutely not!
Yes. Well sort of. It was hush hush until someone decided to be a busy body and reported it. Which didn't make sense. Since the person who reported us had a history of taking that D to get where she got. We both got fired anyway. Now she and I hate each other because she blames me for why she got fired.

I have had a few co-workers that I would like to have in the past when I was single. But I am way too shy for that.
SW-User
I married mine 26 years ago.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@SW-User That is cool. How did it begin with your coworker
SW-User
@bhatjc Small talk. As we got to know each other, I asked her out to a diner for coffee. Over time we found we had common interests and goals. We fell in love and married.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@SW-User hope your marriage last for many years to come
minarth008 · 61-69, M

I have and would do it again.
Not exactly a "hook-up". I began a relationship with a colleague who had been a friend. I'd been widowed for some years and he was single. I fell in love with him, and when we became a couple, I transferred out of that office so that we werent co-workers anymore. It lasted about 7 years.

@Yancey I was, but it was time, things weren't going to progress any further. That's why I don't do hook-ups. I prefer relationships. 🙁
