@Motleycrue667 Ah, artistic interpretation then. But fires do throw up a lot of smoke and ash, and they make the sunrises or sunsets a lot more vivid sometimes as a result.

Oh yeah I've seen that. I remember a few years ago when there were bad wild fires like 800 miles north of where I am and the sunsets were really bright and the sun looked different

@Motleycrue667 Yup, all the dark colored sediment in the air. It makes the natural cause of the sunset even more intense. Under the right conditions, you can look right at the sun without discomfort, but technically you should never do that. :p
