how about self-driving?? One day I'll be able to afford it 馃槣

And how are you these days. You seem awfully quiet

@SW-User bullocks I thought I'd blocked you, don't get me started on self driving cars

@ajoite surely you would want one as well. It will get rid of the hustle of driving. You can drink, play, even make love at the back of your car, all this while you are heading to your destination :)

Ajoite, Why would you say that. Why would you wanna block me. That kinda hurts a bit.

@SW-User you idiots honestly!! How can a fecking car decipher the difference between a plastic bag or a puppy in the road ? How can it know the roads I know and make that split second decision to go into the ditch, because I know it's not a big drop instead of breaking hard and maybe smashing head on to a truck. Even in roads I don't know how, just please tell me how can a computer see and know things and make that slit second decision
Should I hit the child or the tree ???? Think stupid robot car would just break

@ajoite ehm, so you think a computer can't decipher between living objects and those that are not living. Think again. A computer can be programmed to detect living matter. This is not only on cars. The new warfare bots being built can identify enemies based on certain aspects and they are programmed to kill or to choose not to kill based on detected threat level. These robots cannot only see, but they can think as well. Have you ever heard of something called "Artificial Intelligence"??? Bots are going to receive everything we know.

Self-driving cars are actually more safe than human drivers because computers are not prone to human error. There are programmed to stick to the rules and that is what they do.

@SW-User Bollocks, computers have been programed by humans, eh ? So you still think, In that split second an automated car can decide whether it's best to have a head on crash or go left or right, you think robot car will know the terrain, know whether there's an electric pole to one side or a hedge the other side that hides other dangers ?
