@Peaches I even have never believed that you have done something serious. 😊

You know, Peaches, I am working once a month as a juror in the court. I've really seen many people who had trouble with the law - also in my function as a social worker. But I am VERY careful with judging people - especially with people like you.

As you can read in my comment in this thread I've never had trouble with the law - but almost.

I've been married with a criminal. With a REALLY criminal and I was too young, too stupid, too naive and too much blind of love to get that. It would have not missed much and the police would have arrested me. And if I would have been just for one or two months longer together with my "husband" so I would have had answered Nigel's question with "yes."

I want to say with it: It's very easy to get in trouble with the law and very difficult to be a "kind" person for the law. 😥

@Loretta78 I've worked in the courthouse too. It's surprising how many are in jail that shouldn't be, and how many that should be in jail but are not?!😟It's a crazy world we live in?!

@Peaches You are very, VERY right!!

A very little bit.

My former husband has done a lot of things which were against the law. I was the only stupid person who didn't know what he was doing.

When the police caught him it took me a long time to explain to them how stupid I am and that I really didn't know anything.

Luckily they believed me in the end.

Just seeing the title my first question was Johnny Paycheck or the Clash? Both are great.

And shockingly no, and I've certainly been on the wrong side of the law a few times in my youth.

I'm not sure who Johnny Paycheck is, but I love the original version of the song by Bobby Fuller.

.... Totally mixed it up with Take This Job and Shove It, which Dead Kennedys covered. He never did I Fought the Law. Ignore this! My brain is misfiring.

pennynoodles · 56-60, F
@NigelDoes He stole a badge from the front of a magazine, unbeknown to me and my other friends. First thing we knew was when we went to leave the shop. We got taken down to the office but on the way down there, he dropped the badge to hide it.....
