The idea is to make it so no one can scream "fake news" when talking politics because viewers can see the host and guests actively researching to prove their statements.

The problem these days is that there are all kinds of 'special interests groups' who spin anything remotely factual to suit their argument.
You see it on here everyday !
And politicians and elected officials do this all the time !

It was suggested by the Cracked channel on youtube that when Spicer and Conway were doing their media bullshit blitz in the weeks soon after Trump became President
Even the man himself was still delivering all sorts of wild statements on certain issues, that all tv networks should stop carrying White House broadcasts live.
That way, you could analyse the statement. Fact check it. Then show it with the real facts typed underneath.
But media being what it is, they obviously thought it best to livestream everything at the time it was broadcast.

@Picklebobble2 That's part of the reason for making the show, all sides of the argument have the power to immediately disprove. And if you give everyone a virtual blank slate to illustrate their points, the information would be easy to understand as well.
