Those migraines where I start hyperventilating as I realize it's starting, then I start pacing back and forth in the kitchen as it grows in pounding pain over the course of an hour until it's so bad I'm moan-screaming and then I have to barf; after I throw up I can't walk anymore because barfing makes the pain worst, then I sit on the floor and cry while rocking back and forth until suddenly, at the two or three hour mark, it just disappears in an instant.
The relief, the total unbelievable joy at having it end, is surreal in intensity... just as much as the brain-exploding pain of the migraine is surreal in it's intensity.
