The world will run on Hydrogen rather than oil. Other than that, I have no F'ing clue.

@HoraceGreenley this I believe. But the world will still run out of oil sooner or later.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@ScarletWitch Probably not. Eventually as it becomes more difficult to find it will get more expensive and we'll just stop using it.

But hydrogen is the way to go.
ScarletWitch · 26-30, F
By 2100 we will still have fresh water. We have filters and im sure our technology will be stronger to change most Hydrogen into pure water.

@ScarletWitch Someone just came up with a cost effective way to desalinate ocean water. And the best way to make hydrogen is electrolysis. There are plenty of ways to do that.
ScarletWitch · 26-30, F
So what makes you think we will run out of Hydrogen?
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@ScarletWitch Oh no, we won't. I was only responding to your water filtering comment. That's why I mentioned desalinization.

You can't filter water to get hydrogen, you have to crack it with electrolysis.

But you don';t run out of it. If you ignite hydrogen in the presence of oxygen you get water vapor. So whatever hydrogen you extract from water, you replace it by making more water.
