Is it so bad to want the man to lead the conversation?

Especially when you are starting to get to know each other. Idk I feel like that's just me and my feminine nature. Once I get settled in then I can yap all day, but I need to know a man can lead a conversation first. Is that asking too much? Genuinely curious what men and other women think.

I think it’s great when both are capable of leading a conversation, doesn’t matter who demonstrates that first. It’s a positive sign if the relationship does progress beyond the getting to know each other stage.

Not if that’s what makes you more comfortable. There may be situations where the worst that happens is that it reveals incompatibility with a young man, if that’s not what makes him comfortable. People are different.

@BohemianBabe to me, carrying and leading a conversation are two different things. Carrying is more one-sided whereas leading there is still a back and forth.
