[c=#004A59][big]• Email Notifications Preferences[/big][/c] 💌 We understand that our users may wish to receive certain email notifications from us, but not all of them.
Previously, the only way to stop receiving a particular type of email notification was to disable ALL SW email correspondence.
[b]You now have much more control, with the ability to selectively choose which types of emails you would like to receive.[/b]

Also, if our system incorrectly flags your email as being invalid or unable to receive emails, yet you believe this detection to be wrong, you can now mark your email as valid again, by following the instructions on your Account Settings page.
[c=#004A59][big]• Filter Posts by Me/Friends in Groups[/big][/c] ☑ You can now much more easily find the posts you are looking for with our new feature.
Utilize the Post Filter option which appears at the top of each group to display only the posts you specify.
[c=#004A59][big]• Lots of UI improvements[/big][/c] 🌟 We are always listening to member's feedback about usage and experience on SW (what is difficult to use, what is inconvenient, etc...).
Several changes were made to improve usability on numerous pages.
The biggest change is the [b]truncation of posts, when not on Page 1[/b], or when sorted by "Newest First". You can always expand the original post if you wish.
[c=#004A59][big]• Back Button Memory in the main feed[/big][/c] ⏮ To make your navigation through Similar Worlds more comfortable, we have added a feature which will remember your last position in the main/home feed after clicking away from it.
Therefore, if while browsing the main feed, you click on a post you are interested in viewing, then you later click "Back" on your browser, you should be returned to where you last stopped on the feed.
[c=#004A59][big]• Password Reset improvements[/big][/c] 🔐 We noticed that many users were having difficulty recovering the control of their own accounts.
We made lots of improvements to this functionality, most importantly:
○ You can now use Password Reset by providing a username, if you don't remember the email address associated with your account.
○ Logged in users can now reset their password, for those that can't remember the old/current password.
○ We display our support email in case something goes wrong in the process, so that users won't get stuck.
[c=#004A59][big]• New Gifts[/big][/c] 🎁 [b]65 New Gifts were added[/b] to the SW Gift Shop recently, and many more are soon to come!

As always, there are lots of other improvements and fixes we make as we progress:
• Improved URL formats for Groups and Posts. • Expanded compatibility with more browsers/devices, as we discover what may be broken on them. • Editing post question titles is now easier. • The header items no longer fall out of place on iPhones and iPads. • Best Answer notifications are not sent anymore to users that were blocked. • Muted Users won't appear anymore in the Recent Activity section. • Lots of other technical improvements and fixes as we find or as our members report them to us.

I think you should focus your attention on establishing complete profiles first, before you invest time and energy into inventing new features, such as the multiplayer games.
@Nuno: That's not what I meant. I wasn't hinting at some of the profile features currently in development. I was wondering when your team is planning to release the 'full profile' feature that you promised us early on. As I understood, the current bleak mini-profile lay-out was something temporary and due to being replaced by something else, a more complete page and lay-out, rich with a user's info.
@TheGreatLeveler: Profiles are basically a collection of various completely different features, each of which takes time and work to develop.
As we continue to work on and release more new profile-based features, user profiles will slowly begin to shape up into its Complete/Full form.
Once we feel that we are more or less complete with all (or most) important pieces of user profiles, we can begin to re-arrange (as needed) and tie everything together in a proper and final format. At that point we would have a better picture of everything that should exist on user profiles, and know how to fit them all together in the most user friendly arrangement.
Please know that we are not putting aside the development of the rest of the site, for games. We will have a team of new staff help us get the games developed over the coming months, while we continue developing and improving the rest of Similar Worlds, as always.
Also, as the site becomes larger and more complete, is also becomes more complex and delicate, requiring ongoing minor improvements, fixes, etc.. ever increasingly.
This can give the impression that we are working more slowly than before, but that is not the case.
