Scheduled maintenance - Server Upgrades

EDIT - Migration complete. Took less than 1 hour of downtime! 👌🏻
If you find anything not working well after the migration, please let us know!

SimilarWorlds will be temporarily unavailable for approximately 3 hours while we upgrade all our servers to new, more powerful servers.

Scheduled maintenance:
Saturday, August 2nd, 5:00 AM Central Time (11:00 AM Europe/London)

Estimated duration: ~3 hours

This upgrade is part of our ongoing efforts to support our growing community by improving performance, reliability, and our ability to handle increasing traffic and data.

Once the maintenance is complete, all services will return to normal.

@itsok all my recurring payments, whether monthly or yearly, happen automatically and are managed by the receiving party so I don't even have to adjust the amount if rates change. Having to pay rent, insurance, and the like manually is wild to me. 😅

@NerdyPotato Automatic payment for vehicle insurances would be insanity here, every year or two I have to hop from one provider to another because they rise the premium for no reason (even of an extra 100 🙄)

@Elessar I just checked, it’s a 3.5 hour walk to the grocery store 😅 imagine a 7 hour round trip as a Christmas tree
