• SW Gift Shop 🎁
We have finally released our Gift Shop. This is the best time to give your Christmas gifts to your SW friends!
The store currently has 128 gifts. We will be adding new gifts in the next few days/weeks, so stay tuned!
You can send gifts as Anonymous, if you don't want the recipient to know who sent the gift, or send the gift as Private, if you don't want anyone else to see your gift.
Please remember that if you ever receive an offensive gift, you can always use the Report Abuse button to let us know about the incident.
Your most recent gifts will appear on the top of your profile.
The search box finds only users from your friends list and other users you have interacted with. For anyone else, you can go on their profiles and click "Gifts" > "Send a Gift".

Based on the suggestions from our members, we have added two new categories for Questions:
• Books & Literature • Spiritually & Religion
Suggestions like these help Similar Worlds getting better and more complete.

As always, there are plenty of other improvements and fixes we make as we progress:
• Notifications are now marked as read only when you click on them. "Mark All as Read" is also available. • You can now see your Common Groups with someone else. Link is available when you go on your friend's profile Groups page. • Blurred pictures are not unblurred when you tap them, anymore. To avoid accidental taps/clicks, we've added a "Show Image" button. • We keep improving our protection from Spammers. Commercial profiles are not welcome here! • We added buttons to Post a Story or Question on your profile, for convenience. • For users that don't see Adult posts by default, you can now display Mildly Adult and Adult posts when searching posts. • A warning will now appear on your homepage when your VIP Membership is about to expire, to give you time to purchase more VIP time. • Lots of other technical improvements and fixes as we find or our members report to us.

I love the gifts and especially the anonymous ones but there is a problem people are being harassed and verbally abused in the messages that goes with the anonymous gifts it is hurting so many members
you may say, just ignore the anonymous
but we are curious creatures
maybe have
* an option to opt out of receiving anonymous gifts
You can indeed delete gifts you don't like, if you go to your Gifts list.
We will be discussing about ways we can improve the Anonymous gifts and prevent insults through them.

I forgot to say I´d also like to have the message coming with the gift shown on the profile page, depending on the receiver´s will. EP had a whiteboard where we could post gifts AND messages accompanying it....
@ShockWave1983: I didnt feel anything like that. I consider myself a person, not able to be done with with something like a site...it´s up to each of us to have dignity for ourselves...EP or SW dont mean anything in my life but a place to write on. My real life is full of meaning.
@LadyHeartnMind: as is mine. But EP and SW do mean something to me. I come here to exchange ideas and thoughts with people, and they eventually start feeling like friends. Well, okay, not so much here, because I don't get much time to use Internet since my computer gave up the ghost. But on EP, I had some people I had grown very fond of. I did love the white board. It was open and public. And if this is what you meant about gifts and messages, I understand and agree. I was referring to anything I might send that I thought of as a private communication. For instance, if you sent someone a private message, you wouldn't be too pleased if they then posted it on the open forum. If you want it public, you make it public. Anyhow, that's just me. I also don't want any emails I send, being forwarded to everyone on the person's mailing list. But, again, that's just me.

I´d like to have all gifts received displayed on my profile page...not just the most recent ones. Also, it would be good if we could make gifts public when they send it private...meaning if the receiver doesn´t have any problem making the gift public. I´d like to be able to decide which gifts to keep in sight...thanks in advance.
@ShockWave1983: LOL,! Ladyheartnmind blocked me because I like my privacy to be respected. Oh well, I guess it's her personal preference and I respect that.
@Nuno: oh. Okay. Thanks. I just looked through all the gifts and the only thing I could see that might be offensive would be the steak or chicken wings, if you send them to a vegan.
I suggest that you might need to add a gift that's a heap of stinking manure ...😳 After all, how else can I truly thank people for sending me a potato??!😂
