You can create a secondary feed by pressing "+ Add Secondary Feed" in the Customize Feed settings:
If you do that, you can select the configurations for each of the feeds:
You can also give names to your secondary Feed:
Once saved, you can switch between both feeds on your homepage:

There are a number of desired configurations that are very popular, so we thought it would be easier to just have those as "Presets", so you can simply select by pressing one button:
Don't forget to Save!

Was the newest post before yours really 44 minutes ago? This is the problem I’m still having. If I don’t do a search for key words, I don’t see much. And I already adjusted the settings the way Andrew recommended.

@Nuno There are more than 79 people on the site. You saying those people are the only ones posting? Yet, when I search for “and,” a few more recent posts show up. I have to do a search for anything to show. Who I’ve muted has nothing to do with that problem.

I'm sorry, but this issue is unrelated to how many people you have blocked or muted.
The simple fact is that this "update" has severely throttled the amount of posts we're seeing and we're having to search for members by username just to read their latest posts - even in cases where both people are following each other and show as friends.
It's not right... and it's not behaving as I believe that you intended it to, either.
That's why so many people are calling for you to stop with this madness and restore the old feed - which worked much better, and we were able to read and interact with many more posts than this.
The "New" feed definitely has recent posts on it, between the two posts of the screenshot above. I simply told the reason why posts are being hidden. The more people you mute, the less posts you will see in the homepage.

@Nuno The issue was why a search has to be done for new posts to be seen. Not talking about people who were muted. I search “and” for example and a new post shows up. I click “new” and those posts aren’t there.
@Nuno This settings doesn’t make it just friends though. Others filter in, those who are muted and those would never be there based on an algorithm. And the best part is you’re rolling out updates without the core of the issues being fixed. The friends only option worked for maybe a couple of hours with the last announcement. Then it went to shite again. What’s the point of having a slider for friends when it doesn’t work?
@PerfectionOfTheHeart Can you please clarify what you mean that after a few hours it stopped working? It does seem to be working accurately to me, if you use the config that the Preset gives to you.
You've selected to add people in your groups who may not be friends. You've chosen to add posts that the relevance algorithm thinks you'll like.
If you turn those sliders to the far left, you'll have a friend only feed.

@Nuno Again, my question, Nuno, is why a search for keywords has to be done in order for newer posts by users (who I definitely hadn’t muted) to show up? Why can’t their posts be seen without that keyword search being done?
With all these new settings, I'm thinking of opening up an SW consulting biz together with my friend @adorbz. Her ideas together with mine... we could be rich! We might even get free VIP out of it! 🤣🤣🤣
@Nuno I thought of an example. A certain user who I haven’t muted never shows up unless I search for keywords. His posts are never on the feeds. He’ll post something, I do a search and see that it was a few minutes ago. I go to the New feeds, and his post isn’t there; just posts that are 20 minutes or more old.
