As we continue to work our hardest to make Similar Worlds as compatible and user-friendly for everyone, for those who do not wish to Categorize or Type-Label their posts before publishing, we have now added a feature which allows you to SKIP Labelling & Categorization (Step 1 & 2) during the post creation process.
1) Create New Post - https://similarworlds.com/post
2) IF you do not want to correctly organize where your post should be, you are free to use the [Skip Categorization]button, to "1-Click Skip" Steps 1 & 2.
3) You simply carry on with the creation of your post, as usual: Title + Content(+ Audience) ... [Post]
Your post will be Categorized as: "Uncategorized" [Random]
Do note however, that it is not only beneficial for the community as a whole, that posts be correctly labeled (so that users can find they are interested in, from the Groups/Categories they are subscribed to).
It will also benefit you, the poster, to have categorized posts, since once our improved post feed relevance goes into effect, users will see more of the posts they are actually interested in, and subscribed to, and less posts from unsubscribed groups and unfamiliar users.
Kind regards, -The SW Team

Half of my uncategorized posts are related to abuse in some way. Why the fuck would that go in “fun and games”?
@Nuno not to hijack this (sorry @SW-User) but there probably could be a substance abuse/addiction/something group in the struggles category. I don't think there's anything specific about that yet
KaliKali Half of my uncategorized posts are related to abuse in some way. Why the fuck would that go in “fun and games”?
@SW-User, these categories are all available:
Trauma > https://similarworlds.com/trauma
Struggles > https://similarworlds.com/struggles
Self-Help > https://similarworlds.com/self-help
Related Post Types: Anxious | Upset | Sad | Asking
KaliKali @Nuno It really depends on the post. Maybe allow users to make groups again.
You are free to use any of these, amongst many other options, depending on your post topic or mood at the time.

@Nuno No. I didn’t have a specific abuse post in mind so asking for a specific category was meaningless, especially when I already specified it being uncategorized. You said to let you know about suggestions for a specific category so I did.

@Andrew Relates to abuse, not about abuse. Come on, dude.
@Nuno the I love drugs group is clearly related to substance abuse. It's not an exact match but as Andrew said before, even if its remotely related it's fine. If you're not happy with the wording you could make a more appropriate one 🤔
@Andrew / @Nuno May I suggest that the "mute" on @SW-User could be removed now that you all are talking to each other rather than fighting each other? Dialog is more constructive way for everyone, I believe?
