🔒 Private Posts 🚷 for your Friends & Circles Only 🧑🤝🧑👭👬👫
Similar Worlds has now added the ability for users to create Private (Circle/Friends Only) Posts!
Steps:
☀️ Create a New Post: https://similarworlds.com/post
☑️ Select a Post Type
✒️ Write your Post Title & Content
... then in the options available below the post content box, users should now see the following options:
Visible to: 🔘 Everyone| 🔘 Circle/Friends
"Private Posts" allow users to communicate much more freely and openly, with a form of privacy, between trusted Friends and Acquaintances.
Posts marked as "Visible to Circle/Friends", can only be Seen and Accessed by those in the poster's Circle and Friends Lists.
Once a post has been created as "Private" (Circle/Friends), it cannot be converted into Public (Everyone) thereafter (for privacy reasons, to the existing commenters).

@SW-User I suppose the admins can see everything but that eliminates people from reporting inappropriate posts and users if they're hidden. The clique thing is just the silly hs stuff that goes on already here, just gives people more opportunity.
@Darksideinthenight2 This concern was mentioned to them when they were asking about what people wanted too. Guess they think they have it under control.
@HannahSky I like that SW works to add features. Some are hit or miss and that's fine. They're making the effort. It just doesn't seem like certain things are thought through or we aren't aware of safeguards put in place for the serious issues. I would think this would attract more problems than take away.
