There is an increasingly likely chance, that we will have a "Similar Worlds App" available on App Stores fairly soon.

We would however, like to receive some final feedback, with regards to demand and usage, across certain categories of users.

More specifically, Android and iPhone smartphone users.

Where would you prefer using SW the Most? (SW App? Website/Browser?)

and/or

Where do you see yourself using SW most often, if you had the option of both a SW App, or using via a web browser on you preferred device?

Thanks and kind regards!

Always have been happy using browser on android and probably will stay.

Apps take up more space so frankly if it becomes an issue an sw app is never going to be at the top of my list to keep so more likely my usage would drop.

Plus with push notifications etc I can mimic an apps behaviour anyhow.

My concern will be if the app appears if we get divided development with features only available in the app. That annoys me on other systems, access to features should be universal and deployment agnostic.

@SW-User hear hear
@SW-User @Yulianna Thinking about it none of the forums i am on have apps.Buzz50 did but abandoned it.And i found it far too difficult to use.And the danger is apps get updated beyond the limit of your current iPad etc.The first one i bought operates IOS 9.3 and can’t update further.The second is stuck on IOS12...ruling out some apps.But I can access SW via the browser on all them.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales ok, makes sense

@SW-User exactly my point and why I said the same exact features for both!

@TheSirfurryanimalWales I'm afraid the likelihood is once an app is here if that is more popular you'll see new features appearing in that but with a very small development group sw can't afford to develop both website and app so the app will depart from the browser. The website version will then whither and die.

@SW-User a real danger, no matter what genuine assurances are given now.

@Yulianna if the app takes off you know the revenue stream will skew any best intentions now.
@Yulianna @SW-User and if there is no apple app that is me gone!

@SW-User yes, this is a shame if it happens.
