There is an increasingly likely chance, that we will have a "Similar Worlds App" available on App Stores fairly soon.

We would however, like to receive some final feedback, with regards to demand and usage, across certain categories of users.

More specifically, Android and iPhone smartphone users.

Where would you prefer using SW the Most? (SW App? Website/Browser?)

and/or

Where do you see yourself using SW most often, if you had the option of both a SW App, or using via a web browser on you preferred device?

Thanks and kind regards!

I prefer laptop as I usually use it because using any web page on a cell phone is not real ergonomic.
@CestManan I love using it on laptop
@CestManan you can use it on laptop while working. It's fun

@mysteryespresso The vast majority of my web time is at home and I have a laptop, although sometimes I get on SW on my android phone. I only get on SW with my phone though if I am out and waiting in line or something.
It is not about SW, I just don't like doing things on my phone as much because it can be cumbersome.

@CestManan that wholly depends on whether the website is using responsive design or not. If it's responsive, it works well on cell phones.

@basilfawlty89 I am not real familiar with the technical side of it and I am also not a phone wizz, so there may be better ways than what I am using.

But for any computer stuff I like my laptop.
@basilfawlty89 exactly. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

@CestManan the other good thing about a mobile app too is that we'd probably get more people joining and more people active. People can forget to visit a site, but if the app is there, it reminds them to check it.

@basilfawlty89 One thing about this site though, it moves incredibly fast. When I joined EP, honestly that was one thing that scared me off was how threads vanished in seconds because of non-stop posts.

If it were more populated, it might be too much and chase off as many as it would attract.

@CestManan Maybe, but at the same time, with more members with EP there weren't times the site was completely dead. This has happened here that there aren't any posts really for hours on end. We need more users and financially speaking, it makes more sense to attract more users to the site for the owners/admins.

@basilfawlty89 I guess a lot more people use their phone as their "computer" so yeah, SW would need an app.

Agree, phone is a last resort
