@Nuno I don't see how it's useful if you can only see most of the people that visit your profile. It's a feature designed to counter another feature. It's the SW version of spy vs. spy.

@SooperSarah The same you can say about the Delete button on replies. Why allow people replying to posts, if the post owner can remove it? Same for Blocks/Mutes. And Appearing Offline.

@Nuno I don't see that as the same, or even similar. The main difference being they aren't privileges people pay for. I'm not complaining. I've just never understood the point of paying to see who visits your profile when people can still stop you from seeing. I'm excited to see what you guys roll out next!

@Pfuzylogic Yes - we do find that some posts really need to be Closed. It's a good "moderation" feature for the users.

@dirge This is something I pondered too. It is a little weird that you have to pay to see who visits your profile while others can pay the same amount to be omitted in that overview. This essentially means that for this feature, there is no difference between two people paying or neither one paying.

Of course this not the only benefit of a VIP membership and this particular feature is by no means useless in its current implementation as it still allows to view visits by non-paying members. But it does raise an interesting question: should paying provide you ultimate privacy or ultimate information?

I've tried to provide the pros and cons of all possible combinations, but couldn't find a suitable format to do so. I think/hope that the pros and cons are fairly obvious though, so such an overview isn't necessary.

You have the right to make yourself invisible, but that doesn't mean everyone else does the same. You can still see most of your visitors. And remember, only VIPs can make themselves invisible.

That's exactly my point, we won't be able to see all visitors, even with VIP. I wasn't talking about who makes use of it and whom not, but merely the fact that even with VIP we won't be able to see all who visits our profiles. Just a thought on those two benefits somewhat offsetting each other.

@SapphicHeart You see more than a non-VIP sees. We just give an extra privacy option as well, that's all.

I'm aware and that wasn't the point. It's no biggy. It is what it is, we won't be able to see if a VIP using invisible mode will be watching/following/visiting our profiles, being VIP ourselves or not. It's all I was pointing out.
