Speaking with other SW staff, I do see that we actually have this feature listed as "High Priority", already.

It’s been a high topic of convo amongst the masses here.
The ability to block or mute by group rather than go to the persons profile one at a time and block/mute there

Speaking with other staff, I do see that we actually have this listed high in priority.
The tricky thing is implementation, because there are so many algos and filtering already running simultaneously, each time a query is being done, or feed results being shown.

However, we are looking into this, and would like this implemented also.

No doubt there’s programming factors to always look at and the ramification of, before rolling out an update/change
