Your Verification Badge Icon may change dynamically, depending on the options you choose. Similar to this example:

1) In recovering ones account if they were to lose access.
2) For those who are public about their image (shares photos of themselves on SW) they would have some additional validity in their claims that they are the person in said photos.[/c]
[b]The Verification Badge does not show which members are trustworthy or not, it is [u]only meant to help verify that someone is who they claim to be publicly[/u].[/b]

Apart from the changes to this new Verification Photo feature, we will also be working on other ways for members to recover their SW account in the case of losing access.

@unknownpoetx It would be nice if you were clearer with your complaints. You seem to give out about everything, but rarely explain what's wrong with proper arguments.
@Nuno haven't you received enough complaints already? you tried to fix the problem and made it worse. no one is happy. people don't like it that you blackmail them to give out private pictures in order to get verified.
@unknownpoetx What does the Phone Number have to do with complaints against the Verification System?
In the update yesterday, we just gave users what most were asking for -- Privacy Options. Those users are now happy and not complaining anymore.
No one is blackmailing here, since we're not forcing anyone. If you don't trust us, you don't have to use our services. If you trust us up to some extent, then just use the services we provide that you trust. Simple as that.

The other options like Alternative Email, Phone Number, etc, will be separate OPTIONAL options that users can use if they want to protect their account more.
@Nuno it's an invasion of privacy. moreover the privacy policy doesn't cover the current updates and it's in violation of the General Data Protection Regulation. you are discriminating users. that's immoral and wrong. and yes many users are leaving because they lost trust.
