👎 Should we have a Dislike button on posts?

We want to implement Reactions/Emotions on Similar Worlds at some point.

However, we wonder if including a Dislike/Thumbs Down button would bring us benefits or not.

I never saw a site where having one made things better. Too many people abuse it. They are often downvoting the person, not the opinion.

@Peapod Yes. 'Minekey' was one, I believe.

@EugenieLaBorgia, not familiar with that one, but never saw anything but trouble with sites that do have them.

@Peapod Yes. They had silver 'eggs' for a vote down and 'golden' for up. It became a battle and ultimately led to the site's demise!
