👎 Should we have a Dislike button on posts?

We want to implement Reactions/Emotions on Similar Worlds at some point.

However, we wonder if including a Dislike/Thumbs Down button would bring us benefits or not.

i’d like reactions, but the dislike button is probably gonna be used negatively by lots of users. i think it could discourage some users to post cause they’re afraid of getting dislikes. reactions are great, but i think we should encourage positivity among ourselves

facebook had a dislike button if i remember correctly, and it was removed for a reason. 😊

@SW-User you put forward a valid point. I'm not sure a 👎 is a good idea - I think 'if th bastards are gonna be all negative' - make them work for it ! - make them commit to a statement. But you've encouraged a good idea - I REALLY like the emoticon idea - that's a good one.❤
