👎 Should we have a Dislike button on posts?

We want to implement Reactions/Emotions on Similar Worlds at some point.

However, we wonder if including a Dislike/Thumbs Down button would bring us benefits or not.

I voted no. As someone who posts a lot, I already deal with a lot of negative commentary on some of my posts. All a “dislike button” would accomplish is allow more lazy non-posters to criticize the posts that took thought, time and effort to create. It would also send a message that negativity is sought on this site. I prefer the positive “heart if you like” system we currently have.
