I have quite a few friends from Iran. They are very hospitable people with a beautiful culture. The food they cook is delicious too. I met some of my friends as far back as the early 80’s when I worked as a university. Worked with some as well. They loved to talk about the culture so I would talk about that as an ice breaker. What I wish for Iran is peace, love & freedom and hopefully not far in the future. There is a lot of talent inside and outside of Iran.

I understand there is law but sometimes the law is looked over. In this case a 9 yr old girl can be Interrogated as an adult and suffer the same punishment. 9 yr old, 12 yr old girls can be punched in her stomach and beaten with a baton in certain places. Am I correct in this thinking. Not saying anything bad becouse this is the law in Iran

@Semen No, that has never been the case; I have never seen anything like that. I’m not sure how to put it, but in my view, half of the news coming from outside Iran is false. In Iran, girls are actually held in much higher regard.

May I ask where you heard this, or could you provide more specific details about what exactly happened? I don’t want to be untruthful, but as far as I am aware, I have neither heard of nor witnessed any such incident where a nine-year-old girl was subjected to beatings.
